Enough is Enough

 The new strain of Covid on a mink farm is the latest example of how the abuse and exploitation of other sentient beings is not only damaging to their health and well being, it also has a detrimental effect on ours. Mad Cow Disease, swine flu, bird flu, SARS, and now Covid are the direct result of how we mistreat and abuse the animals with which we share the fragile planet. What makes the recent outbreak in Denmark all the more disgusting is that the mink were being farmed intensively for their fur to make coats and other fashion accessories for the super rich.
